Aussie indie rockers The Rubens will be landing stateside with their self-titled debut June 11, but they're going to be mighty busy leading up to that launch, hitting SXSW with some high-profile showcases (thanks to their new signing with Warner Bros.) and also opening Down Under for Bruce Springsteen (a duty they filled last year for The Black Keys). But despite the controversial topic, the song -- down to the cool 007-styled graphics -- gives us a powerful idea of what this promising band is all about. Says Rolling Stone (Aus): "a sophisticated and distinctly Australian take on rock & roll". Read more about The Rubens at the DC Music News Feed.
