Watch: Nell Bryden - "Sirens"

Add Nell Bryden to the list of American singer/songwriter emigrants who have found more welcoming musical surroundings across the pond. While her last album was ignored in the U.S., Britain's BBC 2 radio found six songs to play, helping to build an audience for the New Yorker. Touring the U.K. and Europe, meeting and making fans and collaborating with new Brit co-writer Patrick Mascall, Bryden then recorded her latest LP Shake The Tree with Grammy-winning producer Mark Taylor. "Sirens" is one of the best tracks on the album, one that certainly lives up to Bryden's hope of creating songs with an "epic, atmospheric and rootsy production sound." And wouldn't you know, BBC 2 is already on it. Want more? The "Buildings and Treetops" video, also from Shake The Tree, follows below...
