Daily Track: Jessica Long - "1 2 3 4"
We felt we needed a serious kick in the pants today -- maybe it's the gloomy weather, maybe just because it's Wednesday. We found it in "1 2 3 4" -- a song lifted from the debut album Painted by 25-year-old Durham, NC native Jessica Long. Taking a simple riff and moving it into the roll-down-the-windows and turn-it-up territory, Long makes sure we understand that there's "guitarist" right there along with "singer/songwriter".
