RADAR: The Landing

Described simply as "a student of astronomy with a taste for the theatrical," the artist currently known as The Landing likes to quote Arthur C. Clarke and, more importantly, creates lush, dreamy space/pop out of his probably unspacious Brooklyn apartment. Swaying piano-centric lead track (and free download) "Strange Charm" features some loping bass lines, an oddly addictive and slinky dub beat and The Landing's fragile choirboy tenor-to-falsetto vocals.
