RADAR: Rhodes

UK songwriter Rhodes hasn't even played his first headlining gig yet (that's coming up in a few weeks). But we can cut the UK songwriter some slack since he just picked up a guitar, found his voice and began writing songs just six months ago. But it just takes one -- the right one -- and that's "Always," a tender demo track featuring Rhodes' sandy, quavering vocals and some spare, elegant electric guitar backing. Then the buzz began. Radio play. Opening slots for Laura Marling and Rufus Wainwright. And now a new debut four-track EP Raise Your Love (October 28, Hometown) recorded with James Kenosha and Charlie Fink (Noah and The Whale) led by fine new single "Run." Click through to stream "Always" and watch the the videos for both tracks.
