Listen: Veronica Falls - "Nobody There"

Veronica Falls' nostalgic reference points -- what we've described as "British Invasion 3-minute rushes of 3-chord riffs, Laurel Canyon 60's folk/pop on a bender of acid and amphetamines and even a touch of 70's New Wave-y goodness with a nod to punky aesthetics" -- gets yet another brisk spin around the block on the single "Nobody There," a brand-spanking new slice of vintage, harmonious jangle-pop. If the Mamas and Papas fronted The Flaming Groovies you might get something akin to what the London retro-rockers achieve here. Everything old is indeed new again. For more, check out the brilliant (and even better) "Teenage" from their fine sophomore album Waiting For Something To Happen at DC here...
