We tipped you last week to Matt Costa's new self-titled album arriving next February and "Good Times" will serve as peek into what the SoCal songwriter created in Scotland with the backing of Belle & Sebastian members and studio cohort Tony Doogan. As one of Matt Costa's two new songs that also will appear on his 4-song EP Sacred Hills November 6, "Good Times" sounds like a John Lennon-styled production remade as a brassy, jovial pub singalong. The kicker is the song's ultimate downer -- "good times are coming, those good times are coming...to an end..." Ouch.

Awesome, would be good if Matt comes to New Zealand. I'm sure he has a strong fan base down here, especially after his collaboration with Jack Johnson.
