Justin Jones' "You Saved Me" is one of our picks from the D.C. (Washington, that is) songwriter's recent Fading Light album, a track that builds slowly, methodically to a simmer and then to a rolling boil. It takes a full three minutes to hit that eruption of keys, brass (!) and raucous guitar riffs but when it comes it practically sweeps you off your feet. Jones calls his Fading Light a "reawakening", a description that sounds spot on amidst the soul-stirring power of "You Saved Me". For a limited time, pick it up as a free download along with two other Fading Light tracks at Noisetrade.
