Chris Riffle - Another Dream

New York-based indie folk songwriter Chris Riffle has been haunting Lower East Side clubs like The Living Room over the past few years while steadily releasing a series of promising EP's with acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and producer Jim Zhivago (Ollabelle, Kim Taylor). His third and latest collection, Another Dream -- the follow up to last summer's I Am Not From Here -- once again puts Riffle on the DC RADAR with its sublime acoustic hymns of hushed intimacy. Possessing what we've described as "a delicate, boyish voice that is equal parts wistful and whispery" and Zhivago's richly detailed but restrained backing, Another Dream finds that sweet spot between sweeping chamber pop and elegant folk songcraft.
