Regina Spektor give us the first taste of her forthcoming spring studio album What We Saw From The Cheap Seats with the piano propelled lead track "All the Rowboats." Reteamed with producer Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple), Spektor picked up where her best-selling 2009 Far left off, completing Cheap Seats' eleven self-penned tracks in the studio with just her and piano -- and then working with Elizondo to expand the tracks with full instrumentation. The result is a bold, colorful musical canvas that still maintains the freshness of the original sessions. “Regina Spektor is that rare artist that continues to surprise," remarks Elizondo. "Just when you think you have her figured out, she knocks you out with something completely different. It’s that spirit that drives this record. Each song takes you on a journey that only Regina is capable of providing. She has truly outdone herself.""All The Rowboats" will be available for download at midnight tonight via iTunes.
