Listen: Joshua Hyslop - "Nowhere Left to Go"

We've been following the trajectory of Vancouver neo-folk songwriter Joshua Hyslop following his signing to the prestigious Nettwerk group last year. We noted that his Cold Wind EP (rereleased last summer) "treads lightly into Damien Rice, Sam Beam and Sufjan Stevens territory", a quality found on the fine "Nowhere Left to Go" included in a free download sampler from Nettwerk via Noisetrade. Hyslop is in the mixing stage of his debut full length album due later this year. Stay tuned...and catch the "Cold Wind" video after the jump.
