London based To Kill A King, formed and fronted by the exquisitely-named Ralph Pelleymounter, has been making some sweet noise this year in what is now being commonly referred to (guilty as charged) as the "Mumford sound". But we'll also surmise being signed originally to the fine, much-buzzed Communion label -- co-founded by Mumford's Ben Lovett -- doesn't exactly hurt their chances either. New "Bloody Shirt" track comes to us from the upcoming October 17 U.K. four-song EP My Crooked Saint via a new deal with Virgin. Normally, "lyric videos" don't do much for us, but this one works (and the official video is off-limits for us here in the States, as ridiculous as that may sound). Naturally, being a great song helps in a big way.
