We'll admit that there's a couple of reasons not to like this video for Julian Lennon's "Lookin' 4 Luv" -- from the goofy Prince-ly spelling of the title to the cheesefactor nine video production (umm, Julian, the Hallmark greeting card lawyers are on the line). Still, and we mean a big "still", this is the son of John Lennon with his first studio recordings since before the millennium. Now 48 (!), Julian really has nothing to prove with his new album Everything Changes (October 4, U.K.) -- hell, he doesn't even have a functioning web site -- but it sounds like he's embraced the "all you need is love" mantra of his dad and the power of the 3-minute song...which is just fine by us.

The Lookin'4 Luv track which some have criticized for, of all things, it's name using "sms" lingo, Hello??? it's part of the artists theme perhaps?? of how "Everything Changes"??
as in; we all speak a new language now, with numbers as words and shortened versions of words...? And possibly there was some copyright issue, or kind care, for not reminding us of the previous "Looking for Love in all the Wrong Places" which was so overplayed, I for one, cannot speak further of it.
