RADAR: Matt Hires

After a string of acoustic tour dates this fall, singer/songwriter Matt Hires heads back into the studio to beging work on his second full-length album and the 2012 follow up to 2009's well-received major label debut Take Us to the Start. A handful of one-off EP's and some selected club dates over the past year have given Hires the chance to try out some new material and we're curious where this upcoming project will take him. If "From A to B", taken from this past spring's Acoustic Sessions EP is any indication we can expect more roots-flavored folk/pop melodies and Hire's distinctive vibrato taking the lead.
