RADAR: Keaton Simons

It's been a few years since we've heard from L.A. troubadour and Hotel Cafe mainstay Keaton Simons but it looks like the dry spell will be over soon. Having recently wrapped new tracks with producer Mikal Blue (Jason Mraz, Augustana, Colbie Caillat), Simons will be making advances of his new album -- as yet untitled -- available to fans at shows this fall prior to an official release in early 2012. Tracks like "Without Your Skin" and "Unstoppable" from his Can You Hear Me album span acoustic balladry and full-band force with ease and we're expecting more accomplished and soulful folk/rock on Keaton's upcoming project. Stay tuned.
