Rising, much-buzzed West London "country soul" band, recent winners of Glastonbury's Emerging Talent competition across the pond, Treetop Flyers are readying their debut full length in early '12 after a series of EP's and singles. Their latest "It's About Time", dropping September 19 in the U.K., continues to mine Brit pub/folk and skiffle traditions much like their compatriots Mumford and Sons -- if fact they're signed to the Mumford co-owned label Communion. But the Flyers also bring in a heavy dose of classic Americana-styled, harmony-ripe country/rock --from The Band and Neil Young to Fleet Foxes. Good stuff.
