Taken as an advance and exclusive sneak peak of Peter Bradley Adams' highly-anticipated June 14 album Between Us, "Be Still My Heart" is everything we've come to love about Adams' distinctive, low-keyed folk/pop songs: quietly stunning and atmospheric production, incomparable songwriting and Adams' soft-spoken, just-this-side-of-husky vocals. "Heart" is all about "running and trying to stand still at the same time" says the former member of the groundbreaking folk duo Eastmountainsouth -- and here he gets sterling support from Nashville's Molly Parden on backing vocals (who we featured recently) and five (count 'em) different guitarists all weaving notes in and out.
