Twenty-year-old Welsh singer/songwriter Jodie Marie is putting the final touches on her March '12 debut album, Mountain Echo (UK Verve), a collection of soulful blues and pop songs that's already turned some heads -- including those of her eventual producers and collaborators Ed Harcourt, Jimmy Hogarth (Corinne Bailey Rae, Sia) and Bernard Butler (Duffy).  Clearly the girl has the pipes and on this stately and subdued version of Bob Dylan's "Forever Young", she shows she's got some pretty sizable interpretive powers as well.
