RADAR: Find The Others

Toronto-based guitarist extraordinaire Andy Sheppard has christened his latest project Find The Others, an intriguing blur of acoustic songwriting, looped electronics, ambient sounds, dialogue snippets and whatever else happens to be within reach. Sheppard and FTO's self- titled new project distills that creative strategy into a potent, quietly mind-blowing cocktail as stately chords chime off the frets, hang in the air surrounded by looped samples, voices from old movies and/or laptop electronica blips then drift off before being joined by Sheppard's own distinctive, intimate vocal melodies. Co-produced with Snowblink's Dan Goldman, Find The Others has been adapted by Sheppard into a touring multi-media experience with live performances and video visuals. More DC on Sheppard here.
