Listen: Shannon Stephens - "Cold November"

It's going to be a while before we get the chance to hear Shannon Stephens' new album -- we're expecting it sometime next summer -- but for now we will savor "Cold November", a new, perfectly seasonal, perfectly lovely offering from the Seattle singer/songwriter featuring instrumentalist DM Stith. You may want to know that Stephens hangs out with an impressive pedigree of performers -- Sufjan Stevens (with whom she used to play), Rosie Thomas, Denison Witmers, etc. -- and that her upcoming 2012 album follows up 2009's The Breadwinner, an album we would eagerly put on anyone's "must hear" list.
