RADAR: Noah Gundersen

It's only been a few months since Seattle singer/songwriter Noah Gundersen released the exceptionally fine EP Family with the assistance from his sister Abby as backing vocalist, violinist and co-producer, but there's already news that Gundersen is already working on a larger, full-band recording. Noah and Abby have been performing together in local clubs since he was 15 and she was 12, building a grassroots fan base and now opening regionally for the likes of Shelby Lynne. Troubadours brandishing an acoustic guitar and some heartfelt songs are a dime a dozen but we think that Gundersen's own particular brand of acoustic songcraft and intensely personal lyricism are head and shoulders above the fray.
