We've been keeping tabs on Atlanta singer/songwriter Molly Parden for a few months now after we discovered her wonderful backing vocals on Between Us from Peter Bradley Adams this past spring. Her debut album Time Is Medicine dropped this past June, a slow simmering, distinctively wistful folk/pop affair filled with Parden's sweet, matter-of-fact singing and some songs that managed to be both elegantly tailored and homespun simultaneously. Beyond the low-keyed self-marketing, we think Parden's Medicine might provide some much-needed relief for those who find the subtle beauty in the simplest of things. Check out her soul-bearing look back on a relationship in "Things Change"...

Lovely... I did find some welcome relief... until the glitch at 42 seconds on "Gambler" when the song stops only to restart at 54 seconds...
