RADAR: Mint Julep

Cool-to-the-touch electronica meets epic shoegaze with the plugged in alt-pop of Mint Julep -- aka Portland, OR husband and wife Keith and Hollie Kenniff. Keith also takes the name Goldmund for his ambient, keyboard-centric instrumentals (we're eagerly awaiting his forthcoming All Will Prosper album - more on that soon), but the ultra-melodic Mint Julep is a frothy cocktail of synth beds, electro-beats and Hollie's sugar-coated, light-as-air vocals. Plus with all their arty, out-of-focus photos to choose from, we know that hipness is not an issue. Look for their upcoming album Save Your Season before the end of the year...for now check out the fine, pulsing "Aviary" (video below).
