Paula Cole returns to the straight-ahead uptempo piano pop playing field once more after her ambitious 2007 "comeback" album Courage took her to slightly new territory with jazz producer Bobby Colomby. New September 21 album Ithaca (Decca) promises a more tightly focused production lens and lead track "Music In Me" is a dramatic example, building from strings and stuttered percussive beginnings to a grand-scale, soaring anthem. Classic Cole.

I love it! I feel the fire coming back! :D
Thank God. "Courage" was a hot mess. Sounded like elevator music.
Stunning. What a lightning in a bottle incredlible song. Fantastic production and when she hits the power of the chorus, I got chills. Love the message in the song as well...reminds me of the intimate and honest work that I fell in love with from her debut HARBINGER.
And the pix are just drop dead gorgeous. She looks so happy, sexy, and ready to conquer the world. Love her.
My only complaint is that I never saw the quietly beautiful COURAGE album release digitally in Europe. Hope Decca rectifies that oversight when this album is released.
Love it. Also heard "Something I've Gotta Say" live, such a great and catchy song.
ilove you Paula
