Daily Track: Aqualung w/ Sara Bareilles - 'Remember Us'

“If you want to know why I make the music I do, it has a lot to do with Blue Nile,” says Matt Hale AKA Aqulaung. That sentiment of affection for the music of the legendary Scottish trio led by Paul Buchanan is further reinforced with "Remember Us", a haunting, slow-building six minute Nile-ish track from the latest Aqualung album Magnetic North that also happens to feature backing vocals from Sara Bareilles. Hales' feelings for The Blue Nile were also backed up with a developing friendship with Buchanan, a sympatico "magical thing" that resulted in a co-write for Magnetic North with the song "36 Hours."
