Daily Video: Sarah Slean - Get Home

Someday someone can explain to us why Canadian singer/songwriter Sarah Slean doesn't have a U.S. label deal. Slean mixes cabaret torch songs with theatrical, confessional adult pop for an accomplished sound that is both personal and sumptuously produced. We defy you to watch "Get Home", her heartwrenching video of a woman telling her lover to go back to his wife, without being at least a little moved by it all.
We're going to follow up soon on her latest project Black Flowers, a collection of nine songs from Canadian writers (Leonard Cohen, Ron Sexsmith, Sarah Harmer) that she performs with the Art of Time Ensemble, but for now watch "Get Home" taken from her 2008 album The Baroness. She's in the States for a few dates in November -- find her if you can.
