Paolo Nutini Gets 'Funked' on April 14 'Caustic Love'; Stream "Scream"

Scottish singer/songwriter Paolo Nutini will make his long awaited return with the release of his new album Caustic Love on April 14 in the U.K. The new album, recorded in Glasgow as well as L.A. and Spain, is Nutini's first since 2009's Sunny Side Up, an album that sold 1.7 million copies in the U.K. alone. Lead single "Scream (Funk My Life Up)" lives up to the advance word that Nutini was heavily into American-styled Stax soul and R+B on his new songs. Stream below...

“There’s 11 or 12 tracks on the album," Nutini says in a radio interview. "It’s called Caustic Love. I had a few ideas like Numpty but thought Caustic Love was a bit more representative. Numpty does have a ring to it.”
