Fleetwood Mac to Record New Album in March; Christine McVie on Board

Christine McVie will be re-joining Fleetwood Mac in the studio as the long-running band prepares to begin work on a new album. Drummer Mick Fleetwood, who made the announcement via a recent interview, says the reunited Fleetwood Mac will begin recording a new full-length project in March prior to an extensive 2014 world tour featuring all five members. Christine McVie, who exited the band in 1998, served as major songwriter and singer on a number of Fleetwood Mac's biggest hits including "Don't Stop," "Songbird," "Little Lies" and "Say You Love Me." Following an appearance with the band at the O2 arena in London last fall, McVie said that she would be "delighted" if the band invited her back full time.
