Laura Marling Wraps 'Once I Was An Eagle' for May 28; Stream "Where Can I Go?"

British folk critical darling Laura Marling has announced the May 28 release of her fourth studio album Once I Was An Eagle. The new project was again produced by Marling studio favorite Ethan Johns and is notable, according to NME, that Marling's usual backing band will not appear on the album. All of the instruments will be handled by Marling and Johns with the exception of Marling friend Ruth de Turberville on cello. Stream lead track "Where Can I Go?" below.

"It’s just me and [producer Ethan Johns] this time," Marling tells NME. "I gave him the songs and he pretty much ran with it. I’m very lucky to have him."The album is also said to feature an opening 20-minute medley of songs.
