Beck's New 'Morning Phase' Set for February Release

Beck has announced the release of his new album Morning Phase for February via new label home Capitol/Universal. The official press release describes the new project as "companion piece" to his 2002 album Sea Change, "harking “back to the stunning harmonies, song craft and staggering emotional impact of that record, while surging forward with infectious optimism.” Morning Phase is Beck's first full-length release of new songs since 2008's Modern Guilt (his final release for DGC Records) and will mark the 20-year anniversary of his 1994 major-label breakout album Mellow Gold.
