Acclaimed guitarist and songwriter Kaki King will release Glow, an all-instrumental album, on October 9. The new project, produced by D. James Goodwin, is the Brooklynite's first since the 2010 album Junior. King writes: "It's entirely instrumental, full of beautiful guitar songs accompanied by string quartet, bagpipes, low pillowy bass drum thuds, shakers galore, and a library of unique soundscapes that were created in the studio for each piece... I'm totally in love with it, and I'm sure there is plenty of gorgeous ear candy to please just about any music connoisseur." A live video for the Glow track "Bowen Island" is below.
