Antony and the Johnsons: New 'Swanlights' to Shine October 6

Eclectic singer/songwriter Antony Hegarty will release a self-described "more psychedelic" album Swanlights on October 6 under his Antony and the Johnsons moniker. New project on Secretly Canadian in the U.S. follows up the Mercury Prize winner's The Crying Light, a January 2009 release that hit the #1 spot on European charts. Hegarty told one scribe that "a handful of songs" are culled from earlier album sessions and that the album is "far from my usual mimimalism." A deluxe version of Swanlights will feature a 144-page book, featuring exclusive photos, collages, writings and artwork created by Hegarty.
