Beady Eye - Different Gear, Still Speeding

Beady Eye - From the ashes of the Oasis breakup comes Liam Gallagher's new band with Gem Archer and Andy Bell from (you guessed it) Oasis // Release: Different Gear, Still Speeding (March 1, Dangerbird) // Quote: "It's just rock'n'roll man, [like] The Beatles and The Rolling Stones," Gallagher tells the BBC, "we haven't gone dubstep. It'll get compared to Oasis and I don't mind that." Sounds like: ummm...Oasis? After selling 70 million albums, don't expect a dramatic overhaul...What we like: the Lennon-ish vocal of new single "The Roller"...the ultra-dense 70's glam production throughout from vet Steve Lillywhite...the line "nothing ever lasts forever" from rave-up "Four Letter Word"...
