Michael Franti & Spearhead- The Sound of Sunshine - September 21 - Capitol - Eternally buoyant reggae-tinged roots rocker Franti returns with his first album since 2008's All Rebel Rockers, an album that soared at alternative adult radio on the back of the hit "Say Hey (I Love You)". Says Franti: “With time, you get a better sense who you are and how to put together all your musical passions into your own sound." For Sunshine, the sound borrows from breezy Caribbean rhythms but remains solidly entrenched in the heat of Franti's sunny jam/rock energy.
