Norah Jones' numerous guest vocals over the years have been gathered up in one expansive collection -- ...Featuring Norah Jones -- arriving November 16 via longtime label home Blue Note. From her earliest days, Jones has paired with a number of artists and projects in a variety of genres, from jazz to folk/pop, country to R+B and hip-hop, making Featuring an eclectic mix of musical styles. “It's so exciting and flattering and fun when I get asked to sing with somebody that I admire,” says Jones. "It takes you a little bit out of your comfort zone when you're doing something with another artist. You don't know what to expect—it's kind of like being a little kid and having a playdate."

Among our favorites here: Norah's take on the Joni Mitchell standard "Court and Spark" from Herbie Hancock's Grammy-winning River: The Joni Letters, Roxy Music's "More Than This" with Charlie Hunter, the lovely samba "Virginia Moon" with none other than Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters and "Little Lou, Prophet Jack, Ugly John" from the latest Belle & Sebastian album. But perhaps the most interesting and least exposed is "Bull Rider", a song written for Johnny Cash by his former son-in-law Rodney Crowell and performed by Jones with singer and longtime friend Sasha Dobson. Stark and twangy, the song is a small appetizer of a project -- subtitled "Puss n' Boots" -- we're hoping to hear more of...and soon. See the full track listing for Featuring after the jump.
