Edie Carey- Bring the Sea - November 2 - Acclaimed performing songwriter Edie Carey delivers her seventh album in just over a decade, once again deftly weaving folk, Americana and blithe Shawn Colvin-styled acoustic pop with an ear for memorable melodies and wry, incisive lyrical imagery. Producer Evan Brubaker is back helming the project which features guest turns from Shawn Mullins and Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket. Lead track "Easy Now" easily reaffirms Carey's way around a sweetly turned out, understated pop/folk song.
